ブランドのルーツを遡る事に決めた2021年。
春夏のコレクションを経てたどり着いた言葉は
「偶然の産物」という言葉でした。
この言葉は17歳のまだ何もわからない、洋服作りを始めたボクが
自分の洋服達に名付けた言葉と同じものでした。
rizalt bai tfa:ns(result by chanceの発音記号)/頭文字をとり後のRBTとなる。

REBELLIOUS SPIRIT
あの頃は何もかもオトナが決めた事は気に入らなくて、
自分達のアイディアの方が優れていると思っていた。なにより、
アタマから決めつけられる事や指図される事は気に触ったし、 自分達は今の状況よりも何段階も魅力的なコトやモノを生み出せると信じていた。
ボク等も流石にオトナになって、いろんな事を受け入れる事が出来るようになったけど、いまだに素直に従ったり受け入れたりする前に、新しい方法や美意識を生み出す隙を狙う反骨精神って猛獣が牙を剥いている。

ボクの10代は1990年代で、世間はまさに世紀末。
世の中はノストラダムスや2000年問題など終末の雰囲気と
同時に残された時間をとにかくアソビきってやろうという
怠惰な雰囲気に包まれていた。
とわいえミライを考え続ける時期、思春期だったボクたちは
不安と不満をなんとか飼いならし、, 時に発散するために街に出て
目の前のキケンなコトやイケナいコトに意気揚々と飛び込むのでした。
多種多様なカルチャーが世紀末という気分に任せてミックスされていく。, その現場の、あの臨場感、
あの時うまれた熱(エネルギー)が今も原動力になっているのです。

そんな”おかしさ”こそが今ある領域を無視して、
普遍的に人を自由に出来るカギだと思っているんです
